WE FEAR SILENCE: THE CABLE CUP

So anyone who lives in or around London, should know that We Fear Silence put on THE sickest nights. Chew the Fat, Metalheadz and now Modular just to name a few. They bring us the biggest and best DJs around. So when I heard that they've got a host of nights on throughout the Summer, I knew I'd have to post about it.

The nights in question, all fall under 'The Cable Cup' as they'll be held at (yeah...you guessed it) Cable. Cable is a club for those who like to get messy, I've been a good few times now and have never failed to cause myself some damage.

Here's what WFS had say on their blog: 'In the first half of 2009 we set up We Fear Silence to reflect our love of good parties and good music, regardless of genre or tribe. Shortly after, Cable club threw open its doors under London Bridge’s railway arches. One year on and we have combined forces to present London with an increasingly diverse weekly Saturday night program at the ever-evolving venue. With every Saturday night falling under the We Fear Silence umbrella, events will feature residencies and one-offs both from established members of the WFS family as well as several new additions that we’ll announce over the coming weeks. Key info on the first 8 parties has now been unleashed and includes a Friday-Saturday double header…

The opening weekend looks like back2back madness with FACT Magazine hosting Friday 4th June, pulling in talent from across the Techno / Dubstep / Bass-led divide they champion. This includes the UK Debut of Scuba’s Live show plus Mala & MMM. The fun doesn’t stop there; Modular will be looking after Saturday 5th June with a DJ set from Annie and live performances from Tensnake and The Swiss. The line up for the following seven weeks of Saturdays reveals names such as Goldie, Toddla T, Ben Watt, Boy 8 Bit, and Emalkay.'

As you can see, each night is going to be abso-bloody mental so head on down to at least ONE of them. In the mean time, head on over to the We Fear Silence site (click HERE) for more info and their blog and click the flyer above to purchase tickets.
