Words From FACT Mag;

"NYTA hails not from the Big Apple, but from Bristol. His real name is Mensah Anderson, but you probably know him simply as Mensah, the dubstep producer who’s released extensively on H.E.N.C.H. and most recently Mala’s Deep Medi Musik, collaborating with the likes of Sukh Knight, Squarewave and Baobinga along the way.

Mensah first adopted the New York Transit Authority name for a split 12″ release with Conqueror on Redlight’s Lobster Boy label last year. His side, a slinky, 808 house number entitled ‘Off The Traxx’, was caned by DJs like Loefah and Pearson Sound, and deservedly found its way into FACT’s 50 best tracks of 2011.

Ever since we heard ‘Off The Traxx’, we’ve been craving more material in this vein, and it looks like this year Mensah will be obliging: his snappy, fiendishly addictive FACT mix features four new NYTA productions, including a V.I.P. of ‘Off The Traxx’ and a barnstorming remix of Redlight and Ms Dynamite’s ‘What You Talking About?’"
